Samsung Says Its 2027 HBM Supply Is Sold Out

Samsung says its 2027 high-bandwidth memory supply is already sold out, while major customers continue to request additional volume.

According to Seoul Economic Daily’s October 29 report on the earnings call, pricing negotiations finished at the company’s target levels. Samsung aims to raise HBM4 to 60% of HBM revenue; that figure is a business target, not an independently confirmed achieved share.

The company also reported positive early customer evaluations of HBM4E. For AI infrastructure planners, advance commitments highlight the importance of procurement lead times. The announcement alone does not establish how much individual server prices will rise or when any particular customer will receive hardware.
