MocaccinoOS 26.11 Improves Installation and Config Updates

Gentoo-based MocaccinoOS released version 26.11 on November 4, updating to LTS kernel 6.18.60 and Mesa 26.2.6.

The installer now offers a choice of swap handling, while layers, apps and ISO images include package lists. Configuration-file updates are automatically merged in most cases, a change intended to improve the reliability of delivering important updates.

The release offers KDE Plasma, XFCE, GNOME, MATE and COSMIC editions. Kernel groundwork for sched_ext is included, but alternative CPU schedulers are planned for a future release. Optional x86-64-v3 optimized builds remain under testing and should not be described as a finalized feature of this release.
